I think we are all very aware now of how bad junk food is for our health. Fast food burst onto the streets of our city in the 1980s, starting with the infamous takeover of McDonald’s, giving us an easy, fast and convenient way to get a meal. At the time, it was exciting, reasonable, and logical and then we all got fat and heartbroken.

It seems that fast food was just a fast track to degenerative diseases and obesity. Since the 1980s, people have become increasingly unhealthy, just like our later children. Now, it would be inaccurate to blame only fast-food establishments. The “low-fat diet” craze, which led to high sugar consumption among the herd, also had a lot to do with things. But fast food was also driving sugar. Fast food has brilliantly adapted to marketing trends. Low-fat foods and artificial sugar products have kept me on the path to financial happiness.

The thing is, sometimes we’re in trouble and need to eat, and junk food is the only realistic option. It’s not like we can pull over to the side of the road and light a fire ourselves and grill the shrimp we catch in the ocean. We may not have time to sit in a better restaurant. So, what’s a confused man or woman to do? Well, there are “better” options out there. And some “good” options, depending on your dietary goals. Let’s take a look at some of them.


Chipotle allows you to have “plates” as meals. If you’ve never been to Chipotle before, you can really craft a quick healthy meal. By choosing a bowl with (choose meat or soy), along with avocado, brown rice, vegetables, and beans, you can be very healthy.

The negatives (because there are always negatives) …. Avocados are expensive. Be careful about ordering the extra avocado (everything else included). The other thing is that Chipotle is fast food, but not very fast food. I have never been to Chipotle that I haven’t had an upset streak. People are very obsessed with Chipotle and don’t mind waiting. Also, people choosing whatever they want (the part that can make it healthy) also slows down service. But fear not, just get the app and pre-order it, mighty hipster.

Burger Places – Inside and Out

I don’t trust meat at places like McDonald’s and Burger King. However, In & Out has a bit more street cred. Plus, In & Out lets you order a bun less version of your burger. Losing the cake significantly reduces carbohydrates and calories. Bun is one of the most common health issues with burgers. They’ll have crispy lettuce wraps. You will be surprised how amazing this flavor is! Now, you can choose to put all kinds of toppings on it and throw away the healthy progress you’ve made, but the lack of cake is a bold step toward a new healthy lifestyle. That’s how I eat all my burgers.

Yeah, I got kicked out of some of my boyfriend’s barbecues, but I’m pretty bad when it comes to not baking.
